Vintage Ontario Knife Co. U.S. Machete 16.5" Overall with 11.25" Blade & Leather Sheath
Description: For sale is a vintage Ontario Knife Co. machete with a total length of 16.5 inches and a blade length of 11.25 inches. This collectible machete is an authentic piece of U.S. military history, featuring the "Ontario Knife Co." and "U.S." stamp on the blade. The blade is showing signs of age and use, including surface rust and patina, which adds to its vintage appeal.
The handle is made from a sturdy black synthetic material, secured with three rivets. The handle shows some wear and minor cracks, larger cracks, and hole on the butt of the handle, typical of its age. Despite this, it retains a comfortable grip and is structurally sound.
This machete comes with its original leather sheath, which is worn but intact. The sheath has two copper rivets and embossed designs, providing both protection and style. It has aged beautifully, showing the character of a well-used and preserved piece.
