Vintage Japanese Toy Dishes with a Miniature Hutch.
The ceramic lustre ware dishes have a blue bird (swallows) and flowers design, vivid against the golden sheen of the background. The set is incomplete. It includes: 4 plates (for scale 2” across each); 2 cups; teapot with lid; creamer; and sugar bowl (no lid). This is so sweet for a larger sized doll house or as a display! There is some light minor wear to color on rims here and there. Somewhat more wear on teapot lid. One pinprick on a plate edge. I found these with the wooden display hutch shown. Two of the original nails for hanging cups were missing but I fortunately had a near match and added them. The hutch has some darkening of wood but displays well. There is a small hole opening on the upper back as if for a small nail to hang this. The hutch is 7-1/8” across, 6-3/8” high, and 1-3/4” front to back/
