Vintage Japan Child's Porcelain Tea Set Lusterware Bestmaid Tableware 27+ Piece

Description

This tea set is in great condition. One chip on teapot. I believe this was manufactured in Occupied Japan based on the newspaper it was wrapped in is dated March 4, 1949 and the box is similar to a box marked Occupied Japan. The set includes a covered teapot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, 6 cups and saucers, 6 plates, 2 sets of salt and pepper shakers. Defects mentioned above. Also included is a Bestmaid Tableware Sanitary Plastic which is not complete. Includes 1 serving spoon, 3 forks, 4 spoons, 2 knives, 1 metal fork, 1 metal knife.
The box survived a flood and is included. Poor shape.
