With proven biometric technology for hand geometry, the HandPunch 4000E from Schlage, captures an image of the hand each time an employee clocks-in or clocks-out.  The hands shape and size is used to verify their identity with amazing accuracy.  No palm prints or fingerprints are utilized.  The technology works well in harsh environments as well as indoors.

Manage Schedules By Employee
– Individual employee schedules may be downloaded to the HandPunch 4000E to restrict the times that an employee can punch, reducing unauthorized overtime.
Built-In Bar Code Reader
– When a badge is required for identification, the HandPunch 4000E is available with an integrated bar code reader. The swipe-style reader supports the most poplar bar code formats and allows for infrared badges.
Antimicrobial Protection
The HandPunch 4000E biometric hand reader comes with a silver based anti-microbial agent which is integrated into the materials used to replicate the platen.  This provides a finish that prohibits the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi .  This remains active for the life of the HandPunch.
Hand Outline
The HandPunch 4000E includes a blue outline of a hand printed on the platen.  This hand outlines is provided to assist new users in placing their hand accurately on the clocks platform thus decreasing initial enrollment time and better  enrollment quality.
