Hand Geometry Technology
With proven biometric technology for hand geometry, the HandPunch 3000-E XL from Schlage, captures an image of the hand each time an employee clocks-in or out. The hands shape and size is used to verify their identity with amazing accuracy.  No palm prints or fingerprints are utilized. The technology works well in harsh environments as well as indoors.
Programmable Data Management Keys
The HandPunch 3000-E XL comes with two user defined data management keys that allows you to collect data as staff clocks-in or out. Common uses for this time clock include: department transfers, tips collected, pay and job codes.
Edit-at-the-Clock Functions
The HandPunch 3000-E XL allows supervisors to override user restrictions and to input such items as missed punches, planned vacations, and sick time at the biometric time clock terminal. The password-protected mode provides greater supervisor flexibility by lessening the need for computer edits. Audit trails documenting the use of these functions are generated to ensure security.
Antimicrobial Protection
The Biometric HandPunch 3000-E XL come with a silver based anti-microbial agent which is integrated into the materials used to replicate the platen. This provides a finish that prohibits the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi.  This remains active for the life of the HandPunch.
Hand Outline
The HandPunch 3000-E XL includes a blue outline of a hand print on the platen. This hand outline is provided to assist new users in placing their hand accurately on the clocks platform thus decreasing initial enrollment time and better enrollment quality.
