Machete 30" Vintage Bushcraft Forged Aluminum Handle. The handle reminded me of a Barteaux when I acquired it at an estate up north in Portland. I have had a few of those come through my life over the years with similar handles made of forged or cast aluminum. This is bigger than any of those and the handle is not finely finished, it has on both sides some letter stampings KSS. Blade had the green paint on it when I acquired it and ive left it, has been tempting to remove it and see if there were any markings beneath the paint but I opted to leave it as I found it besides sharpening it up a bit. Blade is approx 25" long with two holes drilled into it on the upper section near the tip, and the overall is approx 30". Straight with no bends, does show signs of previous sharpening, some paint loss, the aluminum handle is more roughed out than finished fully. Edge is sharp now and does show some nicks and dings from previous use. See photos for further condition details.
