    This is a wonderful near vintage jardiniere featuring a wide flared and fluted rim (pattern "A7").  This item was made by Frankoma Pottery in the classic Frankoma "Brown Satin" glaze with its mesmerizing mixes of tans and browns.
    Frankoma initially used a yellow-white clay before they switched to a darker, brick red Sapulpa clay in about the mid 1950s.  Frankoma shifted a final time to a lighter red mix of Sapulpa clay after the mid 1970s.  Please see photos below.

    This decorative and functional item is in
    very good/excellent condition
    with no cracks, chips, or repairs. The glaze is very nice, lots of natural clay color tones.
