    Description

    If you have been thinking outside the box and want something truly unique to hang your jewelry on then don't miss this unusual piece.  Something only Mother Nature and Father Time working hand in hand could create.  Recently found in an old building in Western Maine.  Someone long ago found this tree root with an embedded rock that the root had grown around.  This person liked it well enough to take it home.  This had resided on a shelf in the loft for so long it had a thick coat of dust and was gray when we found it.  It was only after we got home with it and blew the dust off with an air compressor that the true color came to life.  Bone dry, we chose to leave this in it's natural state.  Looks fantastic as is, but would also look great with a coat of varnish or poly applied.  Measures about 14 1/2" high x 13" wide x 6 1/2".  This was found with several other similar pieces.  There are several things that this could be used for to include a lamp, jewelry display, fishing lure display or just use your imagination.  The jewelry shown is for display only and not included with the sale of this item.  Offered only here at John Stanley Antique Tools.  Sorry no combined shipping with this item.
