    Description

    Collin’s & Co Legitimus Hartford No 945 Thatcher Sugar Cane Machete Germany horn handle painted.
    Hook machete is in used condition, handle was painted green by someone along the line but I believe it's a horn handle as was common on the old machetes and it has the deterioration of one.  It shows flaking and some peices chipped off but it's still solid and tightly mounted.
    Blade is 13" long and shows normal marks and use consistent with age. 17 3/4" overall. The whole thing has a bend in it right at the handle as you can see in one of the pictures.  Despite its looks it feels usable.
    Made in Germany.
