ANTIQUE INFANT BABY DRESS, HANDMADE, GOOD FOR ANTIQUE BABY DOLL

Description

Here is an antique cotton infant/baby dress. That is great for antique baby doll.  It is made simply with lace trim at neck and cuffs with attached lace jabot at the throat.  The long skirt has five courses of pin-tuck.  There is an area at the back of the skirt that is torn and needs a patch – looks like it caught on something sharp because the rest of the fabric is strong and sound.  The dress measures 8” across the shoulders, 6” sleeves, 20” circumference under the arms – 22” from shoulder to hem.  There is three button closure with hand-worked button holes.
