    Description

    AN adorable girl's dress from the 1940's!  Very sweet vintage style.
    Label - none
    Color -barn red w/a pattern of tiny cream polka dots
    Fabric - rayon voile.  The dress is fully lined in barn red rayon - sleeves are unlined.
    Description - empire style, round neckline w/ruffle collar.  Many tiny gathers below the chest/empire waist.  Fastens on front of  yoke w/hidden snaps - 9 decorative small cream glass buttons. Sleeves - 1 puffed, 1 is a loose cap sleeve style.
    Size - medium - actual measurements - chest 29", waist 29", hips 36", length 24".
    Condition - overall very good.  Puffed sleeve has 1 row of stitching at hem - cap sleeve does not.  Stitching could be easily removed or the cap sleeve could have a row of stitching added at the hem.  (I think that the cap  sleeve looks better.)  Otherwise very good.
